The workplace for this position is located in Visp, Switzerland. Eligible applicants and their families will be provided with relocation support if required. The location in Visp, Switzerland is growing continuously and for our Biologics Organization, we are currently looking for several Bioprocess Engineers/Biotechnologists/Chemists (m/f/d) for pharmaceutical production. In this role, you are responsible for the execution of production campaigns in production operations for the manufacture of PCP (Potent Compound Production) bioconjugates. This position requires continuous on-site presence. Personal collaboration enables close, timely cooperation and the technical precision required for the manufacture of medicinal products according to the highest quality and safety standards. Our full list of local benefits can be found below: Benefits in Visp Your tasks: As a Bioprocess Engineer/Biotechnologist/Chemist (m/f/d) you are responsible for the correct execution of production campaigns according to cGMP guidelines Review of the risk analysis and implementation of the resulting measures Ensuring batch execution, evaluation of test results, troubleshooting, troubleshooting of production equipment, as well as the submission of suggested solutions Full documentation of the processes and process know-how, as well as complete GMP documentation Creation of campaign reports and participation in Annual Product Reviews Continuous improvement opportunities for processes, plants and procedures, in collaboration with various project teams such as R&D, MSAT to increase process efficiency and for the economic use of the plants Responsible for the training of employees on the assigned products (campaign training), as well as shared responsibility for the training of employees in cross-project topics (quarterly training, special topics) and in daily operations What we are looking for: Bachelor's/Master's degree (Uni / FH) or Doctorate - preferably in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry or similar Initial professional experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnological or industrial production is desirable Fluent German and English skills Good GMP understanding Team and leadership qualities, as well as very good communication skills Cross-functional, structured and focused way of working Talent for organization, proactivity and openness to new ideas and suggestions About Lonza At Lonza, our employees are our greatest strength.
