Designer Paint and Surface

You create construction drawings for the painting and surface treatment of the car body and driver's cab in railway vehicle construction.

Tasks

• Derivation of drawings for the car body and driver's cab based on the design rendering
• Coordination of coating interfaces with assembly managers
• Cross-functional collaboration with project management, surface technology, and purchasing
• Design of 3D templates for color separations
• Accompanying the first article inspection of the painted car body and cab
• Support in the constructive day-to-day business and change management

Profile

• Completed vocational training as Konstrukteur/in EFZ
• Experience with cost-effective and production-oriented designs
• Profound knowledge in a current 3D CAD system, preferably Catia V5
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing, at least level C1
• English skills are an advantage
