Our client is a traditional, future-oriented, and regionally anchored Swiss utility and infrastructure company. As a modern SME, the company ensures the sustainable basic supply of the region with forward-looking services in the areas of energy, water, heat, and networks.

For this dynamic environment, we are looking for a strong leadership and entrepreneurially minded personality as Head of Finance and Services.

Your Impact

You will take on a central key role in an organization on the rise. In this function, you combine entrepreneurial vision with operational implementation power. Together with your team, you will shape the further development of structures, processes, and services and ensure that the financial, personnel, and administrative foundations are set up to be future-proof. Your Tasks

• Department Leadership: You will lead and develop the newly formed Finance and Services department independently with responsibility for budget, results, and quality.
• Support Functions: You will ensure essential company functions and are responsible for, among others, IT/OT, data protection, human resources, process and quality management, real estate, risk management, insurance, contract management, and general administration.
• Strategic Participation: You will actively participate in the corporate strategy and implement decisions from the executive management and board of directors in a timely and professional manner.
• Project Management: You will lead demanding, cross-departmental projects and drive the continuous optimization of internal structures and processes.

Qualifications

What you bring with you

• Education: A successfully completed business administration continuing education (FH, HF, Uni, or professional certificate/diploma) with a specialization in finance, controlling, or accounting – or a comparable qualification with sound practical experience.
• Leadership Competence: Several years of verifiable leadership experience as well as the ability to challenge and promote employees cooperatively, goal-oriented, and integratively.
• Technology Affinity: A strong interest in digitalization, data analysis, and AI-supported processes paired with proficient use of modern systems.
