Senior Software Engineer - Linux (all genders)

What you will achieve:

Development of embedded Linux software for inductive charging applications
Responsibility for the definition of software requirements and architectures as well as the creation of high-quality design specifications
Transparent communication of project progress to internal and external stakeholders including active management of measures and change requests
Close cooperation with hardware engineering teams to ensure optimal integration of software and hardware
Ensuring compliance with relevant automotive standards and processes (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/SAE 21434)
Design and further development of the security architecture (Secure Boot, SELinux, OS-Hardening) for robust and secure systems
Development of modern, networked applications using protocols such as MQTT, ISO 15118, EEBUS and OCPP via WLAN and mobile communications
Proactive identification and minimization of project risks as well as targeted escalation if necessary
Conducting code reviews and active knowledge transfer within the team
Participation in international standardization committees for the further development of technologies for inductive charging
What you bring with you:

Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field
Several years (at least 5 years) of experience in the development of embedded Linux software in a demanding industrial environment
Sound knowledge of relevant software development processes and standards in the automotive industry (e.g. ISO 26262)
Excellent communication and cooperation skills
Good understanding of design and development processes in the embedded hardware environment
Practical experience with the Yocto Project or comparable embedded Linux build systems
Very good programming skills in C/C++ as well as experience with Python and Shell/Bash scripting
Structured, solution-oriented way of working with high quality standards
