Store Manager -- Bakery/Tea-Room --------------------------------------------------- Function: Store Manager -- Bakery (M/F) Location: Yverdon-Les-Bains / Lausanne Contract: Indefinite term contract Activity rate: 80%-100 % Requirement: Cantonal Certificate of Aptitude (CCA) / establishment license in the canton of Vaud: strongly desired ### Job Summary As Store Manager, you are responsible for all operations of your point of sale: commercial management, operational management, team supervision, and customer satisfaction. You ensure the smooth running of the store and actively contribute to its performance. ### A day in the life of a Store Manager:Sales & Service * Welcome and advise customers, process payments, and manage special orders. * Propose additional sales and manage loyalty accounts. * Ensure the attractive presentation of products in windows and on shelves. * Handle complaints and conflict situations with professionalism. Operational Management * Participate in the baking and plating of products, respecting quality standards. * Develop schedules according to the LTR and CCT, optimize resources, and supervise openings/closings. * Manage stocks, supplier orders, receptions, and non-conformities. * Ensure administrative and accounting follow-up: cash reports, inventories, cash funds, claims declarations. * Coordinate maintenance interventions and ensure the upkeep of premises and equipment. * Guarantee strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) and follow HQS audits. Commercial Management * Maximize the turnover and operating result of the store (EBITDA). * Monitor sales objectives and implement actions to achieve them. * Optimize merchandising, product presentation, signage, and POS materials. * Analyze performance indicators via Power BI and adjust commercial actions. Team Management * Supervise, motivate, and develop the team. * Participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees. * Regularly evaluate performance and ensure individual follow-up. * Maintain a positive and professional working climate. Customer Relations * Guarantee a warm welcome and irreproachable service. * Manage complaints and conflict situations. * Encourage customer loyalty and satisfaction. ### Sought Profile * Experience in a similar position and in a comparable environment (bakery, pastry, tea-room, catering, food retail). * Good mastery of standard IT tools, notably Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is an asset; otherwise, you are comfortable learning new IT tools. * Ability to manage a point of sale and a team with autonomy and leadership. * Sense of customer service and ability to create a positive environment in the shop. * Knowledge of food hygiene standards (HACCP). * Cantonal Certificate of Aptitude (CCA) / establishment license in the canton of Vaud: strongly desired * Mandatory mastery of French. * Schedule flexibility. * Results orientation, autonomy, and rigor.
