Caregiver with professional training

BEWO Krummenau is one of four locations of the Verein für betreutes Wohnen (BEWO) with a total of 65 residential and 57 employment places. In Krummenau, we offer 16 adults with mental impairments and environment-related difficulties supported living and an internal daily structure. We support our service users in a needs-based and professional manner in their individual lifestyle management and coping with everyday life. Our agogic work is based on the systemic and solution-oriented approach.

Your tasks:

• Holistic support of 16 service users in their everyday life
• Working in the internal workshop in the three areas of wood/assembly/handicrafts
• Reference person work as well as professional, systemic cooperation with internal and external contact persons
• Collaboration in organizational, administrative and housekeeping tasks
• Participation in and co-shaping of team meetings and reports
• Implementation of our mission statement and care concept
• Administrative, planning and organizational tasks in the residential and employment area
• Weekend and on-call duty

We expect from you:

• Completed social training (SP or FABE)
• Specialist knowledge and experience in dealing with people with mental impairments and/or addiction issues
• Structured, organizational and conscientious way of working
• Readiness to take responsibility, to work independently and goal-oriented
• Physical and emotional resilience
• Balanced and optimistic personality
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Enjoyment of cross-departmental work assignments in the residential and employment area
• Manual dexterity and creativity
• Driver's license B
• Readiness for irregular working hours, weekend shifts, holiday shifts and on-call duties
