After over 40 years at our school, our esteemed colleague is entering a well-deserved retirement. Therefore, we are looking for a new class teacher for our 1st/2nd grade. Tasks ###

You will take on the important role of class teacher and, following consultation, teach subjects from the subject areas of Cycle 1 to the class. We will determine your desired workload together. Like all classes, this one is heterogeneous and - as is customary at our school - mixed-age. Regular professional exchange with our school special education teacher is a central component of the cooperation.

Requirements ###

We wish for an empathetic, clear, patient, and motivated teacher who appreciates working in mixed-age classes. You already possess a teaching diploma and can therefore plan and conduct your lessons competently. Close cooperation in the team as well as building relationships with the children are important to you.

We are proud of our team with an extraordinarily high number of well-trained teachers who also bring a lot of experience. So, if you are fresh out of training or want to re-enter the profession after a long break, we can provide you with an experienced mentor. Likewise, we are proud of the close cooperation with our municipality, which actively supports us. A school social worker is on-site with a workload of 40% and we are supported by a civil service worker. Furthermore, we are allowed to use our indoor pool for physical balance at lunchtime - when Lake Biel, on which our beautiful municipality is located, is currently too cold for swimming. In addition, we motivate each other toward more movement in everyday life, for example through participation in Bike to Work. Our drivers are also not neglected: We offer free parking spaces.
