It manages two Residences, La Poterie (73 resident persons) and Les Arénières (86 resident persons). The Fondation la Vespérale ensures the creation of a respectful living environment for the resident persons, who are at the heart of the institution's mission. The Foundation is looking to complete its team with: A RESPONDING PHYSICIAN At the La Poterie site Main mission: The responding physician is the primary contact for a medico-social establishment (EMS). Their role is to ensure the quality, safety, and continuity of care for the residents in collaboration with the care team and the management. Committed to the establishment's institutional project, they promote the integration, adaptation, and well-being of residents with respect, benevolence, and dignity. Main activities: • Organization of medical care: implements and supervises care protocols, including palliative care • Coordination with health professionals: acts as the link between residents, their attending physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals • Supervision and follow-up of medical files: ensures their update and compliance • Advising management: participates in strategic decisions and the continuous improvement of care • Training and support for care teams: contributes to the development of staff skills The responding physician does not replace the residents' attending physician, but they are their medical contact within the EMS, guaranteeing appropriate care and responding to public health challenges related to aging. Desired profile Training and knowledge: • Holder of a right to practice in the canton of Genève and benefiting from an FMH title • Training in geriatrics and/or palliative care with relative experience of at least 1 year • Team spirit, professional rigor, and commitment to the serenity of residents • Ability to work in a network with the various medico-social actors in the canton of Genève • Use of usual IT tools and DIR-SADIES in particular • Mastery of the French language orally and in writing Desired profile: • A person committed to the elderly and vulnerable • A benevolent, respectful personality, promoter of senior dignity, endowed with empathy and active listening • Agile, flexible, with a professional background that guarantees a sense of organization, observation, and communication • You know how to manage priorities and know how to deal with stress • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team and sharing your experiences • You want to collaborate in the life of a health institution Terms and application address Please send your complete application file (CV, cover letter, copies of diplomas, work certificates, and work permit), electronically only, to E-Mail schreiben.
