Learn more at Industrial Automation Project Engineer (m/f/d) For our production site in Dübendorf, we are looking for a committed individual as Industrial Automation Project Engineer (m/f/d) starting immediately. You will support the existing engineering team in this exciting position. You will bring your sound expertise directly on-site to an ongoing large-scale project in the areas of automation technology, electrical, process safety and general IT/OT, and will take responsibility for a central part of the project starting from the detailed design phase. You will work in a production-related environment at the Dübendorf site and report directly to the Site Engineering Manager. Main tasks & Project responsibility Automation MSRL & Automation technology: Creation, revision and expansion of MSRL lists, functional descriptions as well as cause & effect diagrams Process safety: Execution and post-processing of process risk analyses as well as integration of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and Performance Levels (PL). Process engineering: Handling of control technology issues during the selection and commissioning of various instruments and valves. Understanding and expansion of process flow diagrams / P&IDs. Plant engineering: Coordination of external trades and technical challenging of solutions proposed by specialist planners in the field of automation and electrical. Assembly & Commissioning: Planning and leading activities on-site, coordination of assemblies and support/coordination/execution of commissioning at the process plants. Electrical Coordination and support of internal and external trades Reading and interpreting electrical schematics Instrumentation & Field Engineering: Questioning instrumentation selected by the specialist planner and working out the most optimal solution for the respective application within the team IT/OT Ensuring compliance with global Givaudan IT/OT standards in the ongoing project Creation and execution of an automation concept taking into account all internal and legal requirements and involving all stakeholder requirements. Supporting the commissioning of measuring and control instruments in the process environment. Your professional profile Completed studies (Uni/FH) in the field of automation technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable. Knowledge in process engineering or industrial process plants is an advantage. Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Project Engineer in industrial plant construction / Project Engineer / Field Engineer (preferably food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry). Automation & Safety: Demonstrable practice in the creation/expansion of MSRL lists, instrument selection as well as knowledge in handling process safety technical data (SIL, Performance Level). Software: Ideally experience in using Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Simatic S7. Good knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD (2D & P&ID) is an advantage. Proficient knowledge of MS Office. Working style: Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working in the handling of parallel project phases. Languages: German and English, spoken and written. Process engineering: Ideally already experience in the field of spray drying. Additional information The place of work is Dübendorf. Due to the production-related project execution and upcoming commissioning, a predominant on-site presence is required.
