Schule Horbach is a special school recognized by the Canton of Zug with a focus on behavioral issues. Around 70 children and adolescents are individually supported and taught with us.

For our Unterricht Plus offering, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a:

Social Pedagogue HF/FH or Specialist in Care (FABE) 60–80 %

with experience in supporting children and adolescents.

What awaits you

1:1 instead of group everyday life
You support a child or an adolescent intensively and individually – in lessons and in socio-pedagogical everyday life.

School instead of shift work
You work within the school daily framework. No night or weekend shifts and no shift work.

Lots of free time during school holidays
Our annual working time model is oriented towards school operations. You work largely during school time and have longer, well-plannable recovery phases during non-teaching periods.

A versatile task
You combine socio-pedagogical support with school-based promotion. You structure everyday life, design learning and support units, accompany integration into the regular class, and support the child in challenging situations.

Close cooperation
You work closely with School Special Education, therapies, parents, and other specialists and actively contribute your professional perspective.

Scope for design
Unterricht Plus is a specialized offering with small structures, short paths, and room for individual solutions.

What you bring with you

• Training as a Social Pedagogue HF/FH or Specialist in Care (FABE)
• Experience in working with children and adolescents
• ideally experience with behavioral issues, ADHD, ASD, or comparable challenges
• enjoyment of intensive relationship work and individual support
• confidence in dealing with challenging situations and crises
• a clear, appreciative, and resource-oriented attitude
• independent, structured, and reflective way of working
• enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
