We propose that you join our Thermal and Geothermal Engineering unit within the Engineering Solutions & Projects activity (PID Direction), which is looking for a Thermal Production Project Engineer with basic training in thermal engineering and/or general engineering, and knowledge of district heating installations, management of large infrastructure projects or industrial works. Your energy at the service of a sustainable Genève ## You will be responsible for conducting multidisciplinary projects for the management of several GeniLac plant, district heating plant, or thermal exchange station projects from design studies and implementation monitoring to the end of commissioning and clearing of reservations. Your main mission will consist of: • Managing multidisciplinary projects for works such as GeniLac plants, district heating networks, exchange stations; • Designing, or having designed, by managing contractors and engineers, the underground plants of our Clients to be implemented on CAD or FAD projects during the preliminary, detailed, and execution study phases; • Managing, or performing, technical files, calculation notes, and tender documents for contractors and companies until adjudication (ideally experience with public procurement tenders); • Ensuring management and reporting (cost, quality, deadlines, and technical feedback) mainly internally on the projects entrusted to you; • Managing internal (SIG) and external (engineering offices, architects) project teams, as well as commissioning engineering offices and ensuring the management and coordination of the different mandates through all project phases until the end of commissioning and any trial periods (knowledge of SIA phases is a plus); • Applying the SPI project management methodology in order to master the quality, costs, deadlines, and risks of the projects entrusted to you; • Ensuring project reporting to the internal RTS Zone Manager (Project Portfolios) and coordination with the various stakeholders (internal and external) of the projects; • Contributing to the efficiency of the unit by getting involved in technological monitoring and proposing technical improvements, documentary processes, or specific innovations; • Participating in team life: sharing experiences and best practices, global schedule management, cross-functional risks, etc. Your personality and skills ## • You have creativity, a spirit of initiative, method, team spirit, and good adaptability; • You benefit from excellent knowledge of the theoretical and practical bases regarding the studies, implementation monitoring, and commissioning of works for urban heating and cooling networks; • You master SAP software, MS Project (or equivalent), AutoCAD and/or Revit (or equivalent); • You know how to negotiate, convince, and communicate well; • You benefit from good knowledge of construction project management (ideally in Switzerland). Your background: • Master's degree in thermal/energy engineering (or equivalent) and/or general engineer; • At least 5 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years as a CVCS project manager in the field of CAD or FAD thermal plant construction; • Experience in an engineering office, industrial environment and/or CVCS company is essential (ideally in Switzerland would be a plus); • Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing) is a plus.
