Your task ##

• Participation in international IT projects, from technical conception to commissioning
• Support and expansion of server landscapes and networks in the cloud as well as directly at customers
• Provision of physical and virtual server systems including configuration and integration into existing environments
• Monitoring of the infrastructure and ensuring reliable operation
• Co-design of secure and highly available cloud architectures
• Testing of new technologies and experimentation with innovative solution approaches using prototypes

Your profile ##

• Degree in computer science or a comparable recognized training
• In-depth experience with virtualization based on VMware and Hyper-V as well as with storage and backup solutions
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Exchange or Exchange Online
• Practical experience in the administration of Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Microsoft 365
• Solid network understanding in the areas of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, VLANs and Firewalls
• Experience with monitoring solutions and the operation of IT infrastructures
• Independent way of working and high quality standards
• Fluent German and English as well as willingness for occasional travel
