Patient Sitter on an hourly basis

For our patient, we are looking for a patient sitter on an on-call basis at an hourly rate as soon as possible for the locations Kantonsspital Schaffhausen and Psychiatriezentrum Breitenau. ###

What awaits you

• The safety of patients with a tendency towards self-harm or danger is your responsibility
• Through your attentiveness, the risk of falls and injuries is prevented
• You help with the care of patients in close cooperation with the nursing staff and report to the responsible nurse
• Minimum availability of 4 shifts per month

How you help us move forward

• Residence in Switzerland or an existing Swiss work permit (due to the pool employment on an on-call basis, cross-border commuter permits unfortunately cannot be applied for for this position)
• An SRK nursing course or a three-month nursing internship in an acute care hospital
• You are a student of human medicine or an employee (HF/FaGe) who already has experience as a patient sitter
• A high sense of responsibility as well as very good German language skills
• Flexibility, especially for short-term assignments during the week and on weekends/holidays
• You enjoy working in shift operations, are resilient, helpful, and conscientious
