We are recruiting for a renowned Architecture firm, its next Head of Construction Department. You will play a key role in the management and coordination of projects, while supervising a dedicated and experienced team. A team of scale, high architectural sensitivity, and innovative projects.

Head of Construction Department (m/f)

Our client is a renowned Architecture firm, in the heart of the canton of Vaud, recognized for its technical expertise and commitment to excellence. This role combines operational management, team management (approximately 10 people), and decision-making on large-scale projects. This position is intended for a seasoned professional.

Missions

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the DT department as a whole
• Guarantee respect for deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements for each project
• Ensure general planning, compliance with standards, and supervision of the proper execution of projects
• Prepare and validate the technical documents necessary for the realization of projects
• Supervise field teams and construction managers across all projects
• Structure interventions and plan resources
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the department's processes and methodologies
• Train and supervise team members to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure clear reporting on objectives, deadlines, and resources

Candidate Profile

• HES diploma or equivalent (construction, architecture)
• Confirmed experience (10 years minimum) in construction and/or architecture
• Confirmed experience in project management
• Excellent mastery of IT tools and software specific to the field
• Ease in team management and operational coordination
• Experience in Switzerland mandatory
• Excellent stress management, ability to make decisions in an operational environment
• Sense of organization and ability to manage priorities
