For a dynamic Swiss company in the field of real estate management and site development in the Bern-Mittelland region, we are looking for an independent and committed personality as a Finance Specialist, starting immediately or by arrangement.

In this key role, you will take on operational responsibility for the financial accounting of several companies and work closely with the management.

Your main tasks

• Financial accounting & closings: Independent management of the accounting for several mandates/companies, including the preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as supporting annual audits.
• Sub-ledgers & cash management: Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting, as well as monitoring the reminder and collection system.
• Taxes & VAT: Independent preparation of Swiss tax and VAT returns (including mixed-use properties).
• Real estate accounting: Management of real estate accounting as well as preparation of heating and service charge statements.
• Contact person & advisory: Central contact person for internal and external partners (e.g., auditing companies, authorities) regarding financial matters.
• Process optimization & digitalization: Active participation in the review, further development, and digitalization of existing financial processes.

Qualifications

Your profile

• Education: Commercial basic training with a recognized higher education in finance and accounting (e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting, Bachelor in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting/Controlling/Taxation or an equivalent qualification).
• Professional experience: Several years of sound practice in finance and accounting with proven, independent closing security.
• Specialist knowledge: Good knowledge of Swiss VAT law as well as experience in fiduciary or real estate accounting is an advantage.
• Working style: Independent, structured, and exact way of working with a high sense of responsibility and service orientation.
• Languages: Business fluent German in spoken and written form (Swiss German not mandatory).
