Your task Responsibility for the crack testing of new parts as well as vehicle components after racing and testing assignments. Independent performance of non-destructive testing using the methods MT (magnetic particle testing), PT (penetrant testing) and VT (visual testing). Preparing the tested components for further use in racing operations. Creating and maintaining testing instructions. Traceable and timely documentation of testing results. Recording deviations and error messages in the quality system. Supporting the maintenance, care and calibration of the testing and cleaning equipment. Your profile A successfully completed basic mechanical training as well as additional training in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) is required. Sound practical experience in the testing methods MT (magnetic particle testing) and PT (penetrant testing) is expected, knowledge in VT (visual testing) is an advantage. A certification according to Level 2 or Level 3 in the methods MT and PT is required, a qualification in VT is desirable. Extensive experience in fluorescent penetrant testing (PT) is required. A structured, precise and independent way of working as well as a high quality awareness are required. The readiness for flexible working hours, especially after racing and testing weekends, is expected. SAP knowledge is an advantage. Very good German or English skills as well as the willingness to acquire basic knowledge of the respective other language are required.
