In doing so, versatile tasks in a demanding and interdisciplinary environment await you. You work independently and with individual responsibility, while simultaneously being part of a dedicated multi-professional team and moving in both outpatient and clinical settings. Your daily work takes place on weekdays during office hours and requires a high degree of independence, organizational talent and logistical thinking. In contact with adult psychiatric patients, you bring empathy and a sense of responsibility and take an active role in treatment and care within the framework of the Case Management concept. In addition, you are prepared to take responsibility for medical-technical and pharmaceutical measures and to continuously develop yourself – for example through internal or external training and further education as well as the acquisition of a vocational training certificate. Your tasks You take responsibility for individual treatment planning and ensure continuous and needs-based care You independently conduct conversations and appointments with patients, relatives as well as other involved persons and specialist agencies You take an active role in Case Management and coordinate treatment together with the involved specialists and institutions You work closely with a multi-professional team and actively contribute your nursing expertise to the treatment You maintain cooperation and networking within the UPZ as well as with external regional partners You document your work carefully and ensure professional and traceable performance recording You work independently, responsibly and with a view to efficient and economical service delivery You accompany apprentices and students in practice and are committed to vocational training Your profile You hold a diploma as a nursing professional HF or FH You have at least two years of professional experience in psychiatry, ideally in an outpatient setting You are interested in working according to the Case Management model (a CAS in Case Management is an advantage, but not a requirement) You hold a certificate as a vocational trainer or are willing to complete this further education You bring a high degree of individual responsibility as well as an economical and solution-oriented way of working You can basically adhere to a fixed duty schedule and simultaneously bring the necessary flexibility as a team player You are willing to attend appointments also outside of the office You hold a driving license of category B and are willing to use a car for official appointments The UPZ The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
