Specialist Neurophysiological Diagnostics Neuromonitoring Aarau

Intraoperative neuromonitoring at a Switzerland-wide leading neurosurgical clinic – where precision is decided by millimeters. In Aarau, Kanton Aargau, we are looking for a specialist in Neurophysiological Diagnostics (FND) or a Medical-Technical Assistant for Functional Diagnostics (MTAF) with a focus on Intraoperative Neuromonitoring at a workload of 40 – 100 %, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a clinic operating at an academic university level, the entire treatment spectrum of neurosurgery and a lively, technically demanding clinical everyday life await you.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You are responsible for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during head and spinal surgeries (SSEP, MEP, AEP, VEP, direct cranial nerve stimulation, phase reversal, D-wave monitoring, cortical and subcortical stimulation)
• You are an integral part of the interdisciplinary team during awake surgeries, including mapping and monitoring
• You support the medical team in diagnostic examinations of patients in the intensive care unit (evoked potentials, transcranial Doppler)
• You participate in the establishment of new examination methods as well as in quality assurance and improvement

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Specialist for Neurophysiological Diagnostics (FND) or as a Medical-Technical Assistant for Functional Diagnostics (MTAF)
• Previous knowledge in the field of intraoperative neuromonitoring during neurosurgical procedures
• Good IT knowledge and strong technical understanding
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
