The Federal Institute of Metrology METAS develops internationally coordinated reference standards and passes them on with the required accuracy to the Swiss economy, research, and administration through calibrations. To this end, it operates a high-level infrastructure for the calibration and conformity assessment of measuring instruments at an internationally recognized level.

The METAS staff restaurant «Cafeteria sur mesure» offers the approximately 240 employees versatile catering during breaks and at lunchtime. Great importance is placed on the freshness and high quality of the products used, which are sourced from regional suppliers whenever possible. Your new challenge

• Preparing and providing the break catering offering incl. price labeling
• Support in the preparation of meals (cold and warm kitchen)
• Operating the cash register
• Looking after the guests
• General cafeteria tasks such as refilling goods, providing food, washing up and cleaning work
• Occasional service during company events

Your profile

• Experience in gastronomy
• Culinary flair to advance the operation and the offering
• You are considered to be strong in communication, service-oriented, a team player, motivated and flexible
• Good German skills
• Well-groomed appearance
