• 14 July 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Effretikon The town of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers, with its rural and urban areas, its hamlets, its centers and the historic village of Kyburg, attractive conditions for its approximately 18,000 inhabitants.   Our building department team is responsible for the areas of building permits, urban planning, real estate, energy and sports.   As the building permit manager, you are responsible for the building permit procedure up to the final receipt. You lead a team composed of specialists in the fields of building permits, construction control, fire police as well as the civil protection control body. All team members have long experience in their fields of activity.   For this newly created position, we are looking now or by agreement for a strong leadership personality or a promising talent with solid professional expertise as YOUR TASKS IN THIS FUNCTION ARE : • You assume the personnel management and organization of the building permit area and actively contribute to its development. • With your team, you ensure the lawful execution of the building permit procedure and advise applicants. • You coordinate construction appeal procedures and ensure a smooth process. • You accompany procedures in the field of historical monument protection. • You draft and verify building permits and guarantee a high quality of decisions. • You actively contribute your expertise during meetings of the construction authority. YOUR PROFILE MATCHES PERFECTLY IF YOU : • like working in a dynamic environment with a lively team. • have professional experience and good knowledge of planning and construction law in the canton of Zurich. • possess leadership skills, ideally supplemented by continuing education. • have acquired experience in project management. • preferably already have knowledge of CMI (construction) and eBaugesuch. • have very good oral and written expression skills in German.
