Architect, Technician, Drafter The architecture firm E. Bornand was founded 20 years ago and has been located in the modern office premises at Giacomettistrasse 1 in 3006 Bern for four years. In recent years, the office has employed between 10-14 employees and is part of AtBora Holding AG, which also includes E. Bornand Immobilien AG and BORA Immobilien AG. The two real estate companies develop and realize projects for their own holdings and for third-party investors. The architecture firm designs, plans, and realizes medium-sized to larger construction projects in the residential and commercial sectors throughout Switzerland. The owner-managed office stands for a familial approach and constant and sustainable further development. To strengthen and further develop our team, we are looking for an engaged and motivated architect / technician / drafter, effective immediately or by arrangement. Tasks The diverse tasks in the office are distributed according to the skills, interests, and possibilities of the employees. The spectrum of activities is accordingly broad and, depending on orientation and profile, can include the following activities, among others: Planning orientation: Development and implementation of creative and functional architectural concepts Creation of design, construction project, execution, and detail plans Coordination and collaboration with clients, specialist planners, and authorities Construction management orientation: Accompanying and monitoring the construction execution Project management and ensuring quality, deadlines, and costs Creation of marketing, financing, or sales documentation for overall properties Qualifications Completed studies in architecture or comparable training (e.g., as a Technician HF Bauplanung or as a Drafter EFZ with corresponding experience) Professional experience in the planning and realization of construction projects Confident use of CAD programs (e.g., ArchiCAD) and MS Office Knowledge of Swiss building regulations and standards Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Teamwork skills and strong communication skills Good German skills in speaking and writing Benefits A modern and inspiring work environment Exciting and varied projects in the residential and commercial sectors Insights into different areas of activity A motivated and familial team Attractive employment conditions and development opportunities Support for further education and personal development Application information We look forward to your application!
