Your mission Install, configure, administer and maintain PostgreSQL database environments in production. Implement and manage backup, restoration and access management procedures in compliance with security and compliance requirements. Monitor performance, analyze incidents and optimize databases as well as queries to guarantee the stability and responsiveness of applications. Manage replication, high availability and business continuity mechanisms within the framework of PCA/PRA procedures. Support development teams and project managers on aspects of data modeling, architecture choice and operational best practices. Your profile Higher education in IT such as Federal Diploma, HES, University, EPFL or equivalent. Proven experience in PostgreSQL administration in critical production environments, with a good level of autonomy in operations and troubleshooting. Advanced mastery of PostgreSQL, particularly on subjects of architecture, replication, partitioning and performance optimization. Good knowledge of Linux environments, in particular Red Hat or Rocky Linux, as well as automation tools such as Bash, Ansible or . Knowledge of another DBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL Server is an asset. Rigor, analytical mind, sense of service, ability to work in a team and to collaborate with various technical interlocutors.
