Your tasks

In this role, you bear end-to-end responsibility for customer projects in Switzerland – from order handover and project kick-off to successful handover to the end customer. You control dates, costs, quality, risks, and communication, and coordinate customers, sales, service, production, suppliers, and external partners. The focus is on a professional, economical, and customer-oriented implementation of our new installations.

Your main tasks include:

• Taking over end-to-end project responsibility from contract signature or project kick-off until successful handover to the end customer
• Planning, coordination, and ongoing control of the project plan, milestones, tasks, resources, risks, and dependencies, as well as early escalation of significant deviations
• Responsibility for economical project execution including cost, budget, and forecast control, protection of the project margin, and consistent change and supplementary claim management
• Ensuring transparent and professional communication with customers as well as all internal and external project participants
• Coordination and accompaniment of project execution on-site, especially installation, commissioning, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), customer training, and project handover in close cooperation with Service
• Ensuring the required project quality, readiness for acceptance, and complete project documentation, as well as follow-up of open points until completion
• Creation or coordination of customer-specific execution and offer plans, as well as clarification of technical interfaces with customers, planners, suppliers, and production sites
• Selection, coordination, and performance monitoring of external service providers and suppliers within the framework of the projects
• Conducting a structured project closure including Lessons Learned, as well as active participation in the continuous improvement of project management processes and in the professional exchange with sales, service, and other project managers

Your profile

• Completed training in the planning, construction technology, or technical field with advanced training or studies in project management, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable specialization
• Strong customer, solution, and result orientation with a high sense of responsibility (ownership)
• Structured, independent, and priority-oriented way of working as well as strong planning and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial and business-oriented thinking; confident handling of costs, risks, and conflicts of interest
• Very good technical understanding in plant engineering and/or interior construction as well as interest in medical technology applications
• Communication and negotiation strength as well as a confident appearance towards customers, planners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Team-oriented cooperation across sales, service, production, and project management
• Fluent German in speaking and writing / good French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office; SAP PS and AutoCAD are an advantage
• Several years of experience in project management of capital goods, plant engineering, or construction projects, ideally with conceptual area planning
• Experience in the coordination of construction sites, technical interfaces, as well as external suppliers and service providers
• Experience and/or interest in the medical technology area Infection Control (cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization) is an advantage
