As a specialized administrative court, the Steuerrekursgericht of the Canton of Zürich handles appeals in tax matters at the first instance. To reinforce our team of 15 lawyers, we are looking for a Law Clerk (workload: 50-60%) as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

Your tasks ###

At our instance, you can delve into tax law - particularly in the areas of direct federal tax, state and municipal taxes, and real estate gains tax: You will process and edit complex complaints and appeals largely independently, participate in case management and hearings with referees, and take part in inspections and court sessions.

Your profile ###

In addition to a completed law degree, for admission to our team we expect particular proficiency in written expression, the ability to grasp complex facts quickly and thoroughly, as well as an efficient and proactive way of working. It is an advantage if you have already gained initial experience in a court and/or possess knowledge of tax law.
