During your apprenticeship, you will receive sound knowledge and practical experience in supporting users and maintaining IT infrastructures. You will learn how to efficiently process IT requests and problems from users and provide solutions to ensure their ability to work. This includes the diagnosis and rectification of technical faults in hardware and software, the configuration of workstations as well as the installation and update of programs and operating systems. You will also be trained in the application of security practices to protect networks and data from threats, and you will learn the importance of data protection and data security. An essential part of your training is also communication with end users to provide technical support and conduct training. By managing user accounts and ensuring system backups, you contribute directly to the efficiency and security of the IT infrastructure.
