The Kantonsschule Rychenberg Winterthur is a long gymnasium with classical and modern language profiles and the PPP profile, a bilingual baccalaureate course German / English, and a specialized middle school (FMS) with the profiles Pedagogy and Communication and Information. November 2026 or by arrangement, a position as School Social Work Specialist ## is to be filled. Your tasks As a School Social Work Specialist, you advise secondary school students with personal, social, and academic challenges. You promote their integration into the class and support the school management and teachers in recognizing psychosocial problems and initiating early interventions. You contribute your expertise to positively shape the opportunities for participation and community building at our school. In the two-person school social work team, you will continue to expand our professionally sound and demand-oriented counseling and support services together with other specialists. Your profile You are a committed personality who brings professional experience in school social work or counseling experience from the youth sector. You are interested in age-typical developmental tasks and the associated aspects of mental health. With your solution-oriented systemic attitude, you can mediate well between different concerns. You demonstrate an independent, structured way of working and look forward to collaborating in a team. Your strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and resilience benefit you both in dealing with various stakeholders and in managing crises. A formal requirement for an application is a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, combined with corresponding professional experience or further training in school social work (CAS).
