Your tasks

As an Internal Sales Engineer, you are part of the international sales team and, together with the external service, you ensure the development of the best offer for our customers in the pharmaceutical sector. Your main tasks include:

• Analysis of our customers' tender documents
• Development of a technical solution concept for installations in the life sciences market (GMP and GLP environments) in collaboration with sales, engineering, production, and commercial departments
• Analysis of technical and commercial risks and creation of the evaluation matrix
• Preparation of calculations and offers
• Participation in customer interviews (internally, via teleconferences, or on-site)
• Handover to project management (participation in the internal kick-off or at the customer's site)
• Coordination with product management regarding frequent requests / market trends and definition of new options for the price list

Your profile

We are looking for a technically trained employee with a great interest in economic contexts. You should possess the following qualifications:

• Basic technical training as well as additional training as an HF technician, FH/ETH engineer, or scientific studies
• In-depth experience in plant construction, experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological sector is an advantage
• Experience in preparing technically complex offers, basic knowledge in project management is a plus
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, Salesforce preferred
• Fluent command of German and English, both spoken and written, other languages are an advantage
• Excellent communication skills as well as good team spirit
• Committed, autonomous, and reliable working approach
• Availability for travel (max. 20%, mainly in Europe, sometimes worldwide)
