We are looking for our Production department for an Operational Manager of the WWTP

Your mission:
As the operational manager of the wastewater treatment plant, you support the head of department in the daily conduct of activities. As a true coordination point between the production teams, support services, and partners, you contribute directly to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of all the installations that constitute the treatment of water and sewage sludge of the industrial park and the municipality of Monthey.

Your activities:

• Coordinate operational activities related to water and sludge treatment, in compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements.
• Build and coordinate the exploitation planning with the production teams and support services in order to guarantee the continuity and reliability of the installations.
• Monitor exploitation performance using relevant indicators, analyze deviations, and propose the necessary actions.
• Prepare the useful elements for decisions and facilitate the arbitrations of the head of department.
• Drive collaboration between the teams and ensure the smooth flow of information between the different stakeholders.
• Identify operational skill needs and contribute, with the head of department and the team leader, to the maintenance and development of the know-how necessary for exploitation.
• Ensure the availability and updating of exploitation documentation.
• Coordinate the operational interfaces with internal and external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement plans and coordinate the implementation of corrective measures in case of deviation.
• Ensure, when necessary, the continuity of operational coordination in the absence of the head of department, within the framework of defined delegations.

You have:

• An engineering degree (EPF or HES) or a training deemed equivalent
• Confirmed experience in an industrial environment in the field of water treatment
• A personality open to change and innovation, capable of taking initiatives and adapting to an evolving context
• Communication and negotiation qualities with our different partners
• An ability to navigate exploitation challenges, being oriented towards action, results, and continuous improvement
• An aptitude to organize resources, prioritize, and decide in a pragmatic manner
