Senior Project Manager Railway Signaling Technology

In this role, you will assume the technical and commercial leadership of complex integration projects for ETCS onboard systems in the railway sector. You are responsible for the entire project lifecycle from handover from sales to the end of the warranty period.

Tasks

• Technical and commercial leadership of complex ETCS integration projects
• Responsibility for deadlines, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction
• Definition of execution strategies and coordination of all project activities
• Management of customers, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring of financial project performance including forecasting
• Leadership and development of cross-functional project teams
• Coaching of project managers and further development of methods and processes

Profile

• University degree in engineering sciences (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar)
• Extensive experience in project or program management in complex technical or railway environments
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary projects with responsibility for scope, deadlines, budget and quality
• Sound knowledge of railway standards and regulations (e.g. TSI CCS, UNISIG, CENELEC)
• Experience with ETCS onboard systems and railway signaling technology is an advantage
• Very good MS Office and MS Project skills
• Business fluent English, German and other languages are an advantage
