Job description
We are looking for a Childcare Specialist 40% for our forest group from 18. January 2027 or by arrangement, specifically on Mondays and Tuesdays. The position is temporary until 31.7.2026. We are a Kita with two groups on the beautiful grounds of UPZ Bern and a forest group in the nearby Schermenwald. We care for 30 children per day (age 3 months - kindergarten) in a spacious house with a great garden and at our own forest site. An open-minded and committed team works at Kita Sterntaler. In the forest group, we care for 8-10 children per day from an age of two years. The forest location is in the immediate vicinity of the Kita. For the early and late shifts and in the event that the weather goes crazy, rooms for the forest group are available in the Kita. The forest group is supplied by the Kita kitchen. Your profile:

You have completed pedagogical training in the childcare sector (at least EFZ).
You want to shape everyday life in the forest with the children's group around the clock and during all seasons.
You can organize and lead your group independently, are well-structured, and highly reliable.
You keep your cool and your sense of humor in hectic situations and are resilient.
You are a cheerful person with ideas that you like to contribute and implement.
Trustful cooperation with parents is important to you.
You enjoy exchange and the shared carrying of responsibility within the team.
You also complete manual, household, and administrative tasks efficiently and with enthusiasm.
