Application immediately or by agreement 60 % - 100 % Nephrology | Bürgerspital Solothurn The Nephrology Clinic at Bürgerspital offers a broad spectrum of modern nephrological care and has Category B training authorization (1.5 years). Our focus areas include a highly frequented dialysis station with over 8'000 dialysis treatments per year (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, home hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, and renal replacement procedures in the intensive care unit), a specialized nephrological outpatient clinic, and an established consulting service for inpatient patients. In close interdisciplinary collaboration, we care for people with acute and chronic kidney diseases at the highest professional level. Tasks • Specialist medical care for patients with renal replacement procedures (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplantation) • Independent outpatient activity in the specialized nephrological outpatient clinic • Specialist medical care for nephrological patients in the inpatient sector, incl. visits and supervision of complex treatment courses • Consultative advice for all clinics of Bürgerspital, in particular intensive care medicine • Professional leadership and supervision of assistant and senior physicians as well as active participation in their training, further education, and continuing education • Co-responsibility for the organization and strategic and qualitative further development of the Nephrology department, including the optimization of clinical processes and the range of services • Active commitment to the continuous quality development of the clinic and the promotion of interprofessional collaboration Profile • Specialist title in Nephrology or equivalent, recognized in Switzerland (MEBEKO) • Several years of clinical experience in the entire field of nephrology with proven expertise in dialysis procedures and transplantation medicine • Leadership experience and proven interest in a leadership position • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration • High patient orientation as well as pronounced social and communication skills • Very good German language skills in word and writing (at least level C1); further language skills are an advantage • Commitment to teaching, further education, and clinical innovation For us, it's a matter of course ## Our own daycare center We offer in-house daycare centers in Solothurn and Olten.
