Head of Technical Competence Center Shape the future of sustainable building materials There is much to do with us As Head of Technical Competence Center, you will take on a key role in the further development of our technical competence, product quality, product development, and innovative strength. You will lead a specialized team, set group-wide quality standards, and drive the development of sustainable building material solutions. A significant focus of your function lies in the technical guidance and support of our customers. You will ensure professional technical consulting and, together with customers, develop optimal solutions in the areas of application technology, mix design, product application, and product optimization. In doing so, you will combine technical excellence with entrepreneurial thinking and represent our company as a competent contact person to customers, partners, and specialist committees. Management of the Technical Competence Center (TCC) with responsibility for employees, organization, budget, and competence development Definition, implementation, and monitoring of group-wide quality and technology standards for cement, concrete, and aggregate products Research and development of innovative and sustainable building material solutions as well as support for product launches Responsibility for the accredited testing laboratories as well as compliance with all quality, testing, and accreditation requirements Active cultivation and further development of relationships with customers, authorities, standardization institutes, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders How you will mix in with us Completed training as a master builder, technician HF, or comparable qualification with profound knowledge in concrete technology; additional knowledge or a degree in materials science, chemical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field is an advantage. Several years of professional and leadership experience in the building materials, concrete, or cement industry as well as profound knowledge of construction practice, concrete technology, building material testing, quality management, and relevant and European standards.
