Senior Juvenile Prosecutor / Senior Juvenile Prosecutor in Co-Management (Topsharing) 70% # The five regional juvenile prosecutor's offices investigate and assess offenses committed by adolescents between ten and eighteen years of age. They conduct criminal investigations and are responsible for the enforcement of juvenile criminal law protective measures and penalties. For the Jugendanwaltschaft See / Oberland, we are looking for a personality to establish a co-management as Senior Juvenile Prosecutor / Senior Juvenile Prosecutor, starting immediately or by arrangement. You will take over the management of the office together with the current Senior Juvenile Prosecutor. Leadership responsibility is exercised in a partnership. Decisions are made in coordination and tasks are designed together according to competencies and operational requirements. These tasks await you: ### • Overall responsibility: Together with the co-management, you assume the organizational, professional, and personnel leadership of the office with around 19 employees. • Team leadership: Together, you lead a well-coordinated team of lawyers, social workers, and administrative secretaries and promote an appreciative, cooperative leadership culture. • Representation: You represent the office externally together and maintain cooperation as well as networking with courts, authorities, and other partner organizations. • Management and development tasks: You are subordinate to the Oberjugendanwaltschaft, participate in the management bodies of juvenile criminal justice, and engage in cross-departmental projects and the further development of the organization. • Criminal investigation and enforcement: You are also active as a juvenile prosecutor. You conduct criminal investigations against juveniles, represent the prosecution before the juvenile court, issue penal orders, and, together with the social workers, accompany the enforcement of juvenile criminal law judgments and decisions. What distinguishes you: ### • You are an experienced lawyer with many years of professional experience in criminal investigation and ideally have experience in juvenile criminal justice or a related field. • You bring proven leadership experience and are interested in leadership in a tandem. • You possess high team and social competencies and bring the trust and willingness to make decisions in a partnership and carry them together. • You are also characterized by your strong communication skills as well as a great interest in pedagogical and socio-political issues. • You are prepared to perform regular on-call and emergency services.
