Perform flight preparation work, intermediate checks and the restoration of fighter jets engaged in flight service
Perform aircraft handover and take-over work to pilots
Perform periodic maintenance tasks, repairs and configuration changes on aircraft
Participate in training modules abroad
Assume the role of technical instructor for the troops in service
What makes you unique
CFC as a polymechanic, mechatronician or similar training with a few years of experience, ideally in aeronautics; strong interest in aviation and its new technologies
Good skills in the electrical and electronic fields
Sense of responsibility, team spirit and ability to transmit technical instruction
Good psychological and physical resilience, irreproachable reputation (position subject to security clearance)
Will and ability to perform assignments and training according to an irregular schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays as well as occasionally abroad
Good oral knowledge of a second official language and English (B1 level)

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes in particular the Air Forces, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. Approximately 40 % of the about 2500 employees are employed in the civilian sector, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
