In anticipation of the current holder's retirement, the Swiss section of Reporters sans frontières is looking for its future secretary general, capable, as an operational leader at the head of a small team of three employees and in connection with the organization's global headquarters in Paris, to:

• carry a strong voice in Switzerland,
• represent the association to the media and authorities,
• draft positions,
• conduct campaigns and advocacy actions with political bodies,
• work towards the development of RSF Suisse by finding new resources.

Profile sought

• proven experience in media or human rights,
• in-depth knowledge of the Swiss media landscape and the issues of press freedom in Switzerland or media law,
• French or German native language with excellent mastery of the other language, very good English,
• excellent writing skills,
• strategic sense and management skills of an organization on a daily basis (finances, accounting, communication).

Type of contract CDI, start date April 1st 2027 at the latest, main place of work Geneva.
