Aufberg AG offers a unique chain of services in the care and support of toddlers, children, adolescents, women, and families in Northwest Switzerland.

We have a modern infrastructure and a total of 250 residential and care places at various locations in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. The focus of our pedagogical work lies on creating optimal transitions between the individual services and maximum relationship continuity. Needs orientation and flexibilization dictate the direction for the development of our service offering. This offering is continuously reviewed, further differentiated, and, if necessary, expanded. Our Mother-Child-House in Basel offers help and support to mothers or expectant mothers who are in a difficult life situation. For this exciting and diverse area, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Relief Worker Mother-Child-House ##

To support the team, we are looking for a flexible person who will assist us on weekends, for night shifts, and as sickness replacements. Assignments take place by mutual agreement and on call; employment is on an hourly wage basis.

You accompany and care for our clients with their children and ensure child protection during this time. In addition, the following varied tasks are part of your area of activity:

• Taking over and instructing in infant care and childcare
• Managing crises in consultation with the background readiness
• Performing cleaning and household work
• Support with administrative tasks
• Keeping journals
• Administration of medication
• Ensuring an up-to-date flow of information

If you possess the following competencies, we can offer you an interesting position in a special environment:

• You have training or similar qualifications in the social sector or in nursing or psychiatric nursing
• You have experience in dealing with young mothers and pregnant women with mental or psychosocial impairments
• You have joy and experience in dealing with infants and toddlers
• You are a reflective professional with social competence, resilience, and joy in working in an interdisciplinary team
• You have a positive attitude toward life and maintain an appreciative manner with our clients and employees
