Every year, many people with us take the leap into professional life as cooks, EBA kitchen employees, healthcare professionals (FaGe), assistants in health and social care (AGS), hospitality management professionals EFZ and EBA, as well as merchants. Or pursue studies as an HF registered nurse.

The Dielsdorf health center is a modern geriatric competence center with approximately 500 employees from 35 nations. Our offer ranges from counseling for elderly people and their relatives to general and specialized long-term care, up to home care and support. With more than 200 beds, the inpatient offer for general long-term care at the Dielsdorf site is complemented by specialized treatment pathways for acute and transition care in rehabilitation, palliative care, psychiatric geriatrics, and the focus on dementia.

Your tasks

• Care and support of our patients and residents
• Ensuring the care process
• Development, adaptation, and evaluation of care documentation
• Correct recording of performance data
• Integrated 6-month internship in the acute and transition care service
• Collaboration with relatives, doctors, hospitals, and other specialized services
• Duration of training: 3 years (shortened 2-year HF studies possible with an apprenticeship as a healthcare professional EFZ) or 3 to 4 years in continuing education
• Personal learning transfer training (LTT), including regular exchanges with HF students from partner companies

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a healthcare professional EFZ, maturity or equivalent
• Good knowledge of German orally and in writing (minimum level C1)
• Empathy as well as high social competence in contact with patients, residents, and their relatives
• Practical understanding, strong sense of responsibility, and autonomous working method
• Interpersonal skills and active, situation-adapted communication
• Resilient, sociable personality full of humor with good observation skills
• Joy of working for and with people
• Will to develop professional knowledge and to contribute significantly to the success of our health center
• Participation in an information session on HF nursing studies at a ZAG or Careum specialized higher school and/or registration completed
