Bildungszentrum für Wirtschaft Weinfelden is looking for a Rector due to the retirement of the current job holder as of 1 August 2027 or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Future- and goal-oriented leadership of the BZW
• Pedagogical further development of the educational center and promotion of teaching quality
• Leadership of the employees according to the leadership guidelines of the Canton Thurgau
• Maintenance of cooperation with the two other vocational schools at the Weinfelden location, the responsible office, the BZW vocational school commission and other commissions, the training companies, professional associations as well as the other secondary level II schools in the canton.

Your profile

• Proven leadership and professional experience, preferably in comparable complex and responsible positions
• University degree or equivalent training, preferably in the field of economics, as well as teaching qualification for secondary level II
• Entrepreneurial thinker in a political environment
• Good networking, innovative strength and commitment
• Capable of enthusiasm and strong in communication
• Resilient and responsible
• High level of commitment
• Team- and conflict-oriented
• A completed CAS school management is desirable
