Head of Finance & Accounting 80% - 100% (a)

Your main tasks:

• You are responsible for the accounting of the two operating companies and the holding company at the Swiss headquarters.
• You maintain the general ledgers and ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• You lead the accountant (accounts receivable/accounts payable) technically and disciplinarily, as well as the controller, who reports to you, technically.
• You ensure the group consolidation according to Swiss GAAP FER, in close cooperation with the controller and the Group CFO.
• You actively contribute your professional expertise to the implementation of the new ERP system and help shape the accounting processes in the new system.
• You are the contact person for the auditing body, tax authorities, and banks at the Swiss location.
• You are responsible for liquidity planning and cash management for the Swiss companies.
• You continuously develop processes and internal control systems (ICS) and create order and reliability in accounting.
• You work closely with the management and the Group CFO and act as a sparring partner.

Ideally, you bring the following qualifications for this interesting position:

• You have several years of experience in accounting and have already taken on initial leadership responsibility or are ready to take this step.
• You are proficient in balance sheet accounting according to OR; experience with Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial company is a plus.
• You have a proficient command of German and good English skills.
• You are open to change and joyfully tackle the introduction of a new ERP system instead of clinging to what exists.
• Your education is less decisive for us than your experience and your attitude - whether Federal Diploma, certified expert in accounting or a comparable career path.
• You work in a structured, responsible manner and maintain an overview even with two companies and the holding.
