Social Worker (70-75 %)

The Katholische Kirche Stadt Luzern operates a city-wide polyvalent social counseling center. It is located spatially in MaiHof - Pfarrei St. Josef and supports people, regardless of their religion, in difficult life situations. The counseling center works in a networked manner with authorities, neighborhoods, parishes, and partner organizations.  As a holiday replacement from January 2027 to July 2027, we are looking for a  Social Worker (70-75 %) What are your activities? • Providing psychosocial and solution-oriented counseling to individuals and families • Support in the form of budget coaching • Accessing material resources • Accompanying to specialized agencies or appointments With us, you will find • a good anchoring of polyvalent social counseling within the church, the Stadt Luzern, and partner organizations • exchange and cooperation with different professional groups and fields of work • a well-coordinated and supportive team • progressive employment conditions • possibility for home office • a lively church that actively shapes social change processes and takes social responsibility in diverse ways  We expect • a completed education in Social Work (Bachelor FH or HFS) • professional experience in social work, particularly in individual case assistance, social counseling  • an open-minded, resilient, team-oriented, and communicative personality • joy in incorporating current social topics into counseling work • good IT skills (Microsoft Office) • administrative activities are a matter of course for you Further information about the Katholische Kirche Stadt Luzern can be found at www.kathluzern.ch.  For questions, Ursula Baumann, Social Worker, ursula.baumann@kathluzern.ch, will be happy to provide information.
