Senior Development Engineer - Electronics In our business center in Liebefeld-Bern, we develop innovative high-tech products. A major focus is on measurement technology, optical sensor technology, microtechnology, and actuator technology. In doing so, we deal with technologically demanding and interdisciplinary systems for medical and industrial applications. We support our national and international customers with innovation projects and accompany development projects from the first idea, through design and conception, to industrialization. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a dynamic personality with many years of experience in the development of production-ready electronics. Field of Activity You develop innovative high-tech products for world-leading companies, SMEs, and start-ups in medical technology and industry. After a thorough introduction to our development systematics and project management methodology, you will independently accompany customer projects as a Senior Development Engineer from the idea phase to industrialization. In the project team, you will work interdisciplinary with female and male team colleagues, engineers from other specialist teams, and our customers. You are the central contact person for technical topics and problems related to electronics development. Requirements As a Bachelor or Master in Electrical and Information Technology or with an equivalent education, you have several years of experience in the field of electronics, especially in the development of production-ready electronic devices and instruments. Experience in medical technology is an advantage. Additionally, you speak fluent German and English. Furthermore, you impress with the following background: Experience in the development and realization of electronic circuits and assemblies, including analog and digital electronics Experience in the industrialization of electronic circuits, especially EMC-compliant design and certification Experience in practical work in the electronics laboratory and in the EMC chamber Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary development teams from the fields of electronics, mechanics, software, and optics Knowledge of applied high-frequency technology Ideally experience in the development of integrated and miniaturized products with wireless communication and wireless power transfer Ideally experience in the design and implementation of digital circuits on FPGA If you value international customer contact, develop solutions independently and present them clearly, and enjoy being confronted with new tasks, an exciting challenge with insights into different industries and company cultures awaits you.
