In Bachtelen, children, adolescents, and young adults are the focus - we accompany them in challenging life situations with heart, mind, and a pinch of humor. In a humanly and professionally strong team, we shape their everyday life together with them and create spaces for development.

The Huus am Schärme offers 10 children and adolescents a safe place to live 365 days a year. Embedded in the social space of Hägendorf, the house enables everyday-oriented and life-world-oriented accompaniment. Through integration into the residential area, proximity to school, leisure, and support services, as well as cooperation with parents, legal representatives, and specialist agencies, we create good prerequisites for development, participation, and independence. Our work is based on trust, participation, and relationship building at eye level. Professionally, we orient ourselves toward trauma-pedagogical principles, the principles of life-world orientation, as well as empowerment, thereby creating a structured, reliable framework and a safe place where children can grow and unfold their strengths.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged personality as a Social Worker FH / HF starting from 1 November 2026. The employment is primarily limited as a maternity cover until 30 June 2027. There is an option for subsequent permanent employment.
