Director in co-direction - CVE de la Bourdonnette

The centre de vie enfantine de la Bourdonnette is a reception center for early childhood, located in a multicultural neighborhood, offering 71 places for children from the end of maternity leave until they enter school, divided into three groups: Nurserie, Trotteurs, Moyens. And a kindergarten with a support system for parenting and children with special needs completes the setup. The CVE is also part of a neighborhood policy and collaboration with all local actors. In order to co-direct this CVE, we are looking for a director in co-direction between 70% and 80%.

Missions #####

• Co-direct an early childhood institution and the support systems for children from 0 to 4 years old and their families, taking into account the specificities of a multicultural neighborhood
• Respect the mission and the ethical framework of legal and regulatory requirements
• Ensure coordination work with all the actors in the neighborhood (professionals, associations, etc.)
• Guarantee the safety and well-being of children and collaborate with families
• Lead a team of approximately 40 employees, composed of educational staff as well as housekeeping and kitchen staff
• Ensure the administrative management and the operation of the institution's budget

Profile #####

• Recognized professional title in the field of childhood or training deemed equivalent
• CAS in team management and project management or equivalent training with, eventually, a DAS
• Additional training in family policy and management, an asset
• Confirmed professional experience in team management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and resistance to tension
• Organizational, analytical, and synthesis capabilities
• Decision-making aptitude and leadership
