Area of responsibility Planning, implementation, and operation of the company-wide network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) Configuration, operation, and further development of the firewall landscape Ensuring stability, scalability, and availability of the network infrastructure Analysis and troubleshooting of disruptions in the network environment (2nd-/3rd-level support) Close collaboration with system and security engineers to ensure an integrated overall architecture Maintenance and further development of network documentation, standards, and operating concepts Technical consulting of internal stakeholders on network and security issues Active participation in the continuous improvement of team performance and working methods according to agile principles Promotion of cooperation and technical knowledge transfer in the IT department Requirements profile Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent qualification Several years of professional experience as a Network Engineer Proven, in-depth knowledge and experience in several of the following points: firewall, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, DNS, certificate handling Proven, in-depth understanding of networks and system security, solid in all relevant protocols (including OSPF, BGP) Self-organized and very good prioritization skills, high quality awareness Enjoyment in mentoring younger employees Good communication skills, ability to explain complex issues to non-IT specialists and customers Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking Willingness to work outside of business hours and on weekends for maintenance or emergency support (on-call duty) Offer Exciting, complex transport and logistics projects Cool, motivated team State-of-the-art IT infrastructures A lot of personal responsibility and appreciation Broad field of application in the world of transport & logistics with international contacts in branches Possibility of occasional remote work Please note that due to applicable Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from citizens, persons with a residence or settlement permit (permit B or C), EU/EFTA citizens, and persons with a valid work permit.
