Job description ###

We are recruiting a Power Electronics Technician on behalf of an international organization based in Geneva, for a mission with a duration of 19 months, from 1 October 2026 to 28 April 2028.

This position is to be filled at 100%, with on-site presence required.

Main missions ###

Under the supervision of an experienced technician, we are looking for a qualified junior technician to contribute to activities related to the replacement and commissioning of power converters. The selected candidate will actively participate in technical operations relating to the safety, transport, installation, testing, and documentation of new equipment.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure safety prior to the removal of converters.
• Coordinate electromechanic teams to facilitate the disassembly and evacuation of converters from the building.
• Manage and follow up on transport requests for the evacuation of old converters.
• Supervise building consolidation work and respond to the needs of various stakeholders.
• Organize and coordinate the transport as well as the installation of new converters in the building.

Desired profile ###

• Practical experience with power converter systems and/or in an industrial environment.
• Mastery of writing and tracking updates to technical documentation.
• Strong skills in analysis, organization, and problem-solving.
• Experience in the field of power converters.
• Junior profile considered (professional experience of less than 5 years) provided they demonstrate real motivation to progress, train, and acquire the required skills.
• Experience in the design and/or testing of electronics and electrical sub-assemblies.
• Languages: Intermediate English - Advanced French.

Diplomas: ###

• BUT/DUT Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Electrical authorization according to NF C 18-510 standards: B0, H0V, B1V, H1V, B2V, H2V, BR ;

Hours ###

• 40 hours per week.
• Work exclusively on-site (no teleworking).
• Mission planned from 1 October 2026 to 28 April 2028.
