Tasks ###

• Independent financial support of several Swiss companies with responsibility for significant parts of the entire accounting process
• Independent preparation and execution of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as ensuring high closing quality / preparation of IFRS reporting as well as support in the transition of local accounting to an IFRS basis
• Responsibility for demanding general ledger activities, including accruals, provisions, account reconciliations, and foreign currency valuations
• Ensuring the complete and correct mapping of intercompany transactions and intra-group settlements
• Support and reconciliation of financial transactions such as loans, interest calculations, bank movements, and intra-group financing
• Responsibility for the reconciliation of significant balance sheet and profit and loss accounts as well as clarification of more complex differences
• Preparation and quality assurance of financial and reporting documents for internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of relevant closing documents and central support within the framework of the annual audit and cooperation with external auditors
• Execution or coordination of VAT returns as well as support with further regulatory and statutory requirements
• Ensuring consistent data quality across various financial and reporting systems
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders within an international matrix organization / takeover of selected operational accounting tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day business

Profile ###

• Professional experience in financial accounting, ideally with independent responsibility for several companies
• Further training in accounting is an advantage (e.g., accounting clerk or federal diploma in finance and accounting)
• Proven experience in the independent preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and experience with corresponding reporting processes
• Very good knowledge of Abacus is mandatory
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is an advantage
• Knowledge of IBM Cognos is an advantage
• Experience in IFRS reporting and in the closing process
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
