Head of "Business" Information Systems

Job Description ##

We are looking for, for the Direction - IT Management and business relationship - of the Direction Générale du Numérique et des Systèmes d-Information (DGNSI), a Head of the School Management business Information System and the Cultural Affairs business Information System.

Responsibilities ##

• Under the responsibility of the business relationship manager (RM), define the vision and the evolution strategy of the business IS to meet the strategic and operational challenges of the beneficiary services and the institutions concerned.
• Support the beneficiary services in their business or technological monitoring with their partners: confederation, other cantons, etc.
• Plan, initialize, and supervise the evolutions of the business IS.
• Document the business IS repository (process, functional, applicative).
• Participate in the management of the "IT Management and business relationship" domain.

Qualifications ##

• Experience in the management and direction of IT projects. Direction of several important (or complex) projects in a similar environment (public administration or large company).
• Master's in the field of information systems or equivalent title.
• Experience in the urbanization of information systems. Having carried out projects such as the modeling and optimization of processes, or the development of information system master plans.
• Experience, or failing that, a strong interest, in the field of teaching and training in Switzerland, as well as a sensitivity to the functioning of public or parapublic institutions.
• Technical and infrastructure knowledge is a strong asset.
• Resistance to stress, patience, and pedagogy.
• Rigor, autonomy, and precision in work (documentation, monitoring, reporting, planning).

Particular on-call duties:

• May be required to work outside of usual working hours (night, Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday)
• Residence in Switzerland
