Scientific Assistant (HIWI) The pediatric oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery at UKBB deals particularly with congenital malformations in the oral, maxillofacial and facial area and head deformities. Through the close cooperation with the University of Basel and the proximity to globally leading life science companies, we are part of an innovative knowledge transfer at top level in research, teaching and patient care. We are looking for starting July 2026 for 12 months at the Universitäts-Kinderspital beider Basel (UKBB) and the pediatric oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery there: 15% Scientific Assistant (HIWI) - working days Monday and Thursday. Start date: Your tasks Photo documentation of patients in special clinics of pediatric oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery Active collaboration parallel to clinics every Monday and Thursday Conscientious archiving of the data and entering it into databases Supporting the team in providing the data in required formats Flexible job sharing on Mondays/Thursdays with another 15% Scientific Assistant Your profile Ideally a student at the University of Basel with interest in gaining insight into the university clinic Interest and experience in photo, video and 3D documentation Experience working with databases and data archiving Broad knowledge of the different data formats Enjoyment and ideally experience in dealing with patients Resilient, flexible and team-oriented personality Precise and structured way of working Stylistically confident German, good knowledge of a second national language and English Very good Excel, Word, and PC skills Our offer Varied activity in a university environment Insight into clinical activity and dealing with patients and parents Opportunity to participate in scientific projects Campus at a central location with good transport connections Contact We look forward to your online application!
