Application Manager (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the Canton and beyond.

In the ICT area, we are looking for an Application Manager 80 - 100% immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the support, configuration, testing and further development of the ERP system Opale, telephony (Siemens), patient media terminals and other administrative applications
• User support including on-call service
• Integration and ensuring the stable operation of end devices and applications
• Accompanying IT projects and support in patch management
• Creation and maintenance of system and operating manuals, participation in innovative projects as a specialist, as well as leading sub-projects

Your profile

• Training as Informatiker/in EFZ or several years of experience in the IT field
• Good knowledge in IT support (operation and introduction of IT specialist solutions)
• Experience in hospital operations or handling technical/medical devices is an advantage
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage
• Reliable and solution-oriented personality
• Good oral and written communication
• Enjoyment of working with different professional groups, well-groomed appearance and good manners
