Team Leadership Orangerie: Concept Store & Coffee Bar 60-80% The Fondation Beyeler is one of the internationally renowned and most visited museums in Switzerland. The museum building by Renzo Piano, located in an idyllic park in Riehen near Basel, is considered one of the most beautiful art houses in Europe, as it harmoniously combines nature, architecture, and art. The Fondation Beyeler houses one of the world's best private collections and presents high-quality exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. In accordance with the wishes of its founders, it is committed to conveying art to the general public and to young people. The Orangerie is part of the historic building ensemble of the Fondation Beyeler and will be opened together with the new ensemble in autumn 2026. It combines a carefully designed Concept Store with a small greenhouse. While our visitors can discover plants in the greenhouse, they will find books on art, nature, and botany, plant pots, vases and objects designed by artists, seedlings, and other carefully selected items in the Orangerie. At our coffee bar, we serve espresso, cappuccino, tea, and small snacks - with the same care that we also use to select our products. For this special place, we are looking for a team leader from mid-August 2026 or by agreement, who is eager to help shape something new from the beginning. Team Leadership Orangerie: Concept Store & Coffee Bar 60-80% Your tasks As team leader, you are responsible for the Concept Store and the small team. You welcome our guests and ensure that they feel comfortable and want to come back. You advise our national and international customers with enthusiasm and personality. You prepare coffee specialties, tea, and small snacks at our coffee bar. You present books, plants, design objects, and other products with great attention to detail. You take care of purchasing planning, inventory management, cash register, goods receipt, and daily store organization. You create daily and monthly closings as well as inventory. You create the duty roster and are responsible for the training and instruction of employees. You ensure that occupational safety and hygiene guidelines are followed. Together with the team, you develop ideas on how to keep the Orangerie lively, inspiring, and surprising. Your profile You are a welcoming host and love to welcome people. You have already gained experience in a comparable position in retail, in a Concept Store, a bookstore, a design or lifestyle shop, or in the gastronomy sector. Maybe you are already a barista or want to further develop yourself in this area. You are passionate about botany, design, art, and design and enjoy beautiful, carefully selected things. You have a sense of plants and think about their needs. You have a sense of atmosphere and details and present products with love and care. You work independently, are willing to lend a hand, and feel comfortable in a small team where everyone takes on responsibility together. Most importantly, you bring curiosity, openness, and entrepreneurial spirit. You don't just want to work in a new store, but to help shape a special place from the beginning.
